--CMT Magazine
"...they sure nuff' can sing. This title tune's a gorgeous waltz that won my heart."
--Robert K. Oermann
Music Row Magazine
“That’s How I Got to Memphis” becomes a lovely pop tune, and the quintet successfully explores country (“Lonesome Feelin”’) and Western swing (“Nothing Ever Turns Out Right”). Tight harmonies support Tim Shelton’s twangy lead vocals throughout, making “Somewhere Between” another gem in a banner year for bluegrass recordings.
--Steven Wine
MSNBC
"Somewhere Between has the variety, constency, and the heart needed to firmly establish the band as a topflight bluegrass act even as they stay true to their gospel roots....an exceptional release "
--Bluegrass Unlimited Magazine
"...what sets them several cuts about the run of hot acoustic pickers is the heart and soul which they imbue their playing and singing."
--FolkWax
"Each year one or two bands emerge on the scene with just the right combination of magic to make it happen in a big way. If I had to pick one band, NewFound Road is it!"
--Terry Herd
Bluegrass Radio Network/ Sirius Satellite Radio
"This is crystalline bluegrass with a nice mix of originals and covers, secular and religious songs...NewFound Road does it really well, with love and superb chops. I especially like Tom T. Hall's That's How I Got To Memphis and their sublime a cappella Rock of Ages."
--SingOut!
"...There is much to praise...Grade: A-"
--Fort Worth Star-Telegram
"...astringent vocal harmonies and hard charging instrumental muscle...quite a few undeniably powerful performances."
